CLIENT REVIEW

An absolute hidden gem in Santa Barbara. The art, the history, and the incredible gardens made us feel a million miles away, yet downtown was just a few minutes down the road.

We had a wonderful stay! This charming home is full of character and rich history, making it such a unique and memorable place to visit. Maya was an exceptional host, warm, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. She truly thought of everything, from coffee and creamer to a partially stocked refrigerator with helpful essentials. Every detail made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Absolutely stunning. If you love art, books and a piano/guitar to jam on, then this is the place for you. It was so peaceful, the hot tub was wonderful, and the whole home is absolutely stunningly beautiful. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Santa Barbara. We had room for the whole family, and it was very pet friendly. We had a wonderful time.

This cozy rental was exactly as pictured and described by Maya. It felt like staying at a well traveled Auntie’s home in a private, safe and convenient location. Great space for a family get together. Seamless checkin and checkout. Household items easily located in fully stocked historic home. We also enjoyed looking through the many curated books. Thank you Maya for sharing your home.

Cheryl Ann — San Diego, CA

We loved this house, tucked in the bend of a sweet neighborhood with off-road parking. It was a wonderful pick for a large group of people, (there were 7 of us), with plenty of comfortable seating, a large table in the dining room, 4 unique bedrooms, and 3 baths. The house was bright and creatively decorated. I especially appreciated that it didn't look like every other house, feeling cozy, like a real home rather than a common rental. If you are a minimalist, this may not be the house for you, but we loved the shelves of books and eclectic art.

Laura

Enjoyable stay and there was a great collection of books, instruments, and artifacts around the world. The s’mores, jacuzzi, and front yard were great.

We had a wonderful weekend staying here. The house was super comfortable and full of personality. The eclectic decor made every room fun to explore and you could tell a lot of thought was put into the spaces. We were especially surprised by how many amenities were provided. From board games to s’mores supplies, Maya had thought of anything we might want. Tiny details like that made the stay feel special.
